CCIE Certification FAQ

What is the CCIE certification?

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) is Cisco’s highest technical certification. Unlike multiple-choice exams, the CCIE lab tests your ability to configure and troubleshoot real network equipment under time pressure. Passing it proves you can do the job — not just answer questions about it.

What CCIE tracks are available?

Cisco offers five active CCIE tracks:

  • Enterprise Infrastructure — Routing, switching, SD-WAN, network assurance
  • Data Center — ACI, NX-OS, storage networking, automation
  • Security — Firewalls, VPN, identity services, threat defense
  • Service Provider — MPLS, segment routing, BGP, carrier Ethernet
  • DevNet — Network automation, programmability, APIs, CI/CD

How long does CCIE preparation take?

Most candidates need 6 to 18 months depending on experience and track. Enterprise Infrastructure and Security typically require 9-12 months. Candidates with strong CCNP foundations and daily lab practice can sometimes be ready in 6 months.

What is the industry pass rate?

The CCIE lab exam pass rate is approximately 20%. Our students achieve a 100% first-attempt pass rate — because we focus on lab readiness, not just knowledge.

How much does the CCIE lab exam cost?

The lab exam fee is $1,600 USD per attempt. With travel, hotel, and lost work time, a failed attempt can cost $3,000+. This is why passing on the first try matters.

What does your training include?

  • Real lab equipment matching the exam topology
  • 1-on-1 CCIE mentoring (not group lectures)
  • Custom study plan built for your timeline
  • Practice labs based on actual exam scenarios
  • Exam readiness assessment before you book your lab date

How do I get started?

Send us a Telegram message. Tell us your target track and current level. We will respond within 5 minutes with next steps.

Do you train all 5 tracks?

Yes. Every track has dedicated instructors and purpose-built lab environments. The most popular tracks are Enterprise Infrastructure and Security.

Is training available worldwide?

Yes. We work with engineers from 30+ countries across all time zones. Sessions are scheduled to fit your calendar.

What makes your program different from other CCIE training?

Three things: 1) Every session is 1-on-1 with a CCIE-certified instructor — no group classes. 2) You practice on real equipment, not simulators. 3) Our 100% pass rate is not a marketing claim — it is the result of a structured process that works.
