Purchase & access terms

Updated September 6, 2026. These terms describe purchases made through FirstPassLab. Review the specific package and the final checkout details before paying.

What you purchase

FirstPassLab offers independent practice materials and remote lab packages. The current package description specifies its track, included components, prerequisites, price, access allowance, validity and support scope. A listed direction is not a promise that every lab or package is available.

Materials and remote lab access are separate delivery components. Only the components listed in your purchased offer are included. FirstPassLab does not sell an exam result, guarantee certification, or present these products as official Cisco or Red Hat services.

Price and payment

The initial catalog uses one-time prices in USD. A one-time package does not create a recurring subscription. Check the final amount, currency and package scope before submitting payment. Any additional amounts must be shown at checkout.

Payment is processed through Stripe-hosted checkout. An order becomes paid after the payment provider confirms payment; opening a return page does not itself confirm a purchase. An unfinished checkout does not reserve delivery capacity or prevent another customer from checking out. Delivery capacity is assigned when payment is confirmed; see the refund policy below if simultaneous payments exceed available capacity.

Activation and lab time

The initial paid pilot has an eight-hour customer activation window from confirmed payment. This includes preparing and validating the first materials and lab connection. Your order shows the deadline and actual progress of each component.

Purchased lab allowance and access validity start at usable activation, not while waiting for setup. Connection details and access are assigned to your order. Follow the specific access allowance, validity and permitted use stated in your package; a finite allowance is not unlimited access.

Delivery and support

Retrieve delivered files and connection details in My Lab. Notifications point you to the order; they do not replace it. Keep your purchasing browser session, use your order email link, or save a recovery key from the order page for access on another device.

Support covers the purchased package’s stated scope, such as missing files, delivery problems and connection issues. A purchase does not include personal coaching, an instructor on demand, or services absent from the offer. There is no required sales call or consultation before buying.

Refunds and delivery problems

If payment is confirmed but the remaining delivery capacity has already been assigned to another paid order, we automatically request a full refund for the order that cannot be admitted. That order will not be assigned another customer’s Lab. The order page shows the refund request and its progress; a request is not a completed refund. Stripe confirmation establishes completion, and your bank controls when the returned funds appear.

If the initial paid pilot cannot be activated by the deadline published for your order, you may request a full refund through the order portal. Your timeline distinguishes a request, a pending provider refund and a completed refund. A timeout alone is not evidence that the payment provider has returned money.

For missing or unusable components, raise the issue in your order so the affected delivery can be investigated and the applicable package policy followed. Materials and remote access are assessed separately. Any other refund or renewal conditions must be stated in the offer before payment; they will not be silently substituted after purchase.

Your order and materials

Use the materials and access for your own purchased practice. Do not share another customer’s account or redistribute private connection details. Follow the usage and licensing requirements stated for each included file or environment.

Public technical articles remain available for reading and linking with attribution. Existing examples and historical results are educational context, not a promise about a new package or your exam outcome.

Operator and policy questions

FirstPassLab is the service name used on this website. Review the merchant details presented by Stripe before confirming payment. For questions about a package or an existing purchase, use product and order help; the order page remains the reference for your purchased terms and recorded payment state.
